| Matt Cooke has played extended time on both Malkin and Crosby's lines things season (sometimes as the third forward on a line with both of them).
Teams often trade too much future for immidiate help, it's not a new thing. Not trying to cause another contreversy, just trying to explain the trade. |

Just remember --and everyone would do good to come to this realization-- that a 'challenged' trade, or a trade under review does not mean it's a bad trade or rejected. It just means the TC wants to be sure a team doesn't get signifantly hurt in such a short period of time. | |
