| season series: 2-2
bottom line: THE marquee matchup in the first round of the SDHL playoffs. its a shame one of them has to go. tampa bay battled hard all season long, sporting the second best record in the east and even making a late push for the conference title. coming up short in their own division means they're stuck in the #4 slot. philly looked well on its way to its own division title until the pens made the most out of their games in hand while the flyers seemed to end their regular season after 79 games.
what to watch for: the mike richards vs vinny lecavalier matchup could prove to be a microcosm of the entire series. will the possible selke nominee be able to shut down the ultra talented bolts center?
prediction: despite all the talent in the world the flyers ended up as underachievers this season. without an overwhelming amount of talent the lightning finished with the 2nd best record in the conference. bolts in 6.

| 13pts in 3 games for Vinny... I guess Richards isn't much of a shut down guy, lol. | |

| i think last night they literally had the guy who played kramer trying to check vinny. its not over yet. i once lost a playoff game 9-0, but won the next two games to take the series in 6. of course that was a different league and mark doesnt have the legendary ilya kovalchuk to take the team on his back like i did. | |

Not when he's playing on the first line. Carter's likely taking a hit due to playing the wing as well. If it were up to me, I'd move Carter over to centre and move Richards to the third line....or just move Carter to the third line C position.
