Well hellooooooooooo there folks.

Why bother with small talk when I'll just leave everyone speechless with this doozy of a deal;

To Mon: Radek Martinek, Trent Hunter, Josef Vasicek, Jesse Joensuu, $5M Cash
To NYI: Ryan O'Byrne

Yes, at first glance the Island is parting away with much useful talent. Of course, if you thought that then you don't know a ounce of useful hockey knowledge. Youth and rebuild, it's what I'm all about and this trade addresses a huge hole on the back end... unlike me who simply has a huge back end.

This trade means that Streit, Weight and basically any other geezer over the age of 16 is available to be moved.

Draft picks, prospects... bring them my way.

NYI's agree to this deal.

OK Brucie. I know my hockey and this is truly confusing... O'Bryne is a top 4 dman and a defensive one at that...someone please explain to me how O'Bryne is worth a top 6 forward (Hunter, may be Islanders best player so far this year), a top 6 d (Martinek), a top 9 forward (Vasicek, in the KHL), mid level prospect and 5M.

I like O'Bryne but this is OVERKILL.

And playing the I am rebuilding card doesn't fly as this is just plain rediclulus....

If you hadn't guessed i am challanging this deal!

Why are you asking for me?

Clearly you think Bruce is wrong on this trade, so I'll wait until I hear from him regarding this trade to see what his point of view is.

If his reasoning is good enough, this trade will be processed. If not it will be reworked, just like every other deal.

Sorry for the long delay. I'm okay with the rework, though I still think Montreal got a helluva deal.
