if you guys are bidding on players 26 and under it would be wise to check and see if they are dupes so that you dont waste your time and effort bidding on invalid players.

OK, well I hate point this one out because I may well have the highest bid for him (I'll take a cash reward instead, though ), but Peter Regin is still listed as a prospect for the Sens.

I also hate mentioning these guys because I was planning on making bids for all of them, but I would want someone to do the same for me if these were my prospects, I want to play fair, and I am willing to accept cash for admitting all of these duplicates . The following are all listed as prospects for various teams, but are also in the free agency pool:

ATTENTION PLEASE: there were a couple of GMs who took the number of years FAs with multiple round 2 bidders to be a negotiating point. no big deal. thought this might happen. but it should be made clear that if a FA has multiple round 2 bidders he is not asking for a number of years as a negotiating ploy; that is simply the number of years for which he will sign. no more, no less.

the way i have chosen to clear this up is that i'll give each gm with the winning dollar amount the opportunity to offer the appropriate contract length.

*in the case of brian boucher, i chose not to enter a 2nd round bid as i decided to rethink my FA strategy. so boucher will accept the islanders winning dollar amount bid of $2.95M for the term of four years. if the isles refuse boucher is willing to take his chances at the end of FA.

**in the case of mike comrie, both GMs offered more years than comrie was asking with edmonton offering the winning dollar amount of $3.7M, but for five years. the kings offered a lesser amount for three years. while comrie is thrilled anybody is willing to offer him more than the two years he asked for, he'd rather showcase the amazing talent that landed him hillary duff as a girlfriend for one nhl season(=two sdhl seasons) and hit the FA market again. he will give first edmonton and, if they refuse, los angeles the chance to offer him a two year contract, or he too will take his chances at the end of FA.

I don't mean to rain on the Devils' parade, but I already mentioned that Peter Regin is listed as an Ottawa Senators' prospect, so doesn't that void the offers on him?

The Edmonton Oilers will withdraw their offer for Mike Comrie.
