The Blue Jackets agree and are happy to add Roy and Bernier..while being sad to see a high end talent in Jason Spezza go...we feel like this was the best move from an asset and cap standpoint that we could make.

Spezza will never be the complete player that Roy is, but Roy will never be the dominant offensive player that Spezza is.

Nevertheless, considering Roy's bargain contract, it seems like a little much to have to pay for Spezza, but it is by no means a rip-off. Pretty decent trade actually, though the biggest factor in determining the future winner will be where Steen reaches his potential, and whether or not Bernier pans out, and to what extent.
