The Avalanche announced today (and some gms already know) that they are shopping some of their veteran players...

Mike Modano, Bill Guerin and Mike Sillinger are on the chopping block...however, just because they are older, we will not be giving them away for nothing, we are looking for young-er roster players that can replace them now and help us in the very near future....now, im not expecting to get a bunch of young top notch offers for them and thats fine..im looking for guys between 26 and 32ish years old....also note that i DONT want prospects...i want roster players

Secondly...Paul Stastny and Alex Frolov are still untouchable unless ur offering up Malkin or Kovalchuk.....

I am open to moving Josh Georges and Chris Higgins...but im expecting them to have good years, and i have places for them in my roster...so i dont plan on giving them away....

Why would anyone offer Malkin or Kovalchuk for Frolov? The guy is one of the biggest disappointments offensively of all time... Statsny though is solid, just needs to remain healthy.

i love when i see trade blocks in sim leagues and overrated loafers like frolov are *untouchable*. always makes me chuckle. same situation in the DHL. new jersey has frolov and, iirc, dont even bother asking about him unless you're trying to piss the guy off.

he is off fucking limits, period!

why? its frolov. pretty good player, but no one to get touchy/protective over.
