Well well Well....all you Gm's out there with some shitty contracts on your hands. I am here to say I will take them off your hands. Here is the catch. You want to dump salary on me, I want some decent prospects in there as well. I am letting you know now that you WILL LOSE THE DEAL, except that you can now go and get other players with not so much salary, and thus make your team better.

So send my your crappy players with crappy contracts and include some youth, I'm sure we can work out a deal.

Why wouldnt people just waive them and therefore they do not have to give up any young talent....? If you waive them and they go unclaimed they end up on your minor league team and if someone claims them you get 500K...so there is no reason for anyone to give up young talent.

If you can get a good cheaper guy in return then absolutely it is worth it and if that is what he is willing to do then yes it is much better to do it that way...maybe I took what he was saying in the wrong context...I thought he was willing to take contracts and prospects for the sake of doing it....if he is willing to add solid players that is a much better deal.
