Ruslan Salei 74 rating, Solid CH and DF ratings Josef Vasicek low 70s in SC and DF and great on FO Francis Bouillon 92 Checking I can't see myself ever trading for a guy who's last name sounds like a yeast infection cream.

| I think there's a limit to the degree of 'hand-holding' that we can do for new GMs. Vasicek hasn't played in the NHL for a couple years, if I recall, and will continue to stay at his current rating unless Joe manually goes in and rerates him, which he'd then have to do for all the other players and goalies that didn't play in the NHL the season before.
He's a late-twenties fourth/third liner for crying out loud.

| skwid, if you dont like new guy 'hand-holding' you'd really hate this other league im in called the SLHL. they got this gm over there, won't say which team, but it rhymes with 'aint chewin jews'(well, sort of rhymes) and that new guy had, i think, his first 5 or 6 trades rejected by the TC. a couple of em were pretty brutal, too. at least now that i think of it. | |

| The difference being that, in the SLHL, challenged trades are voted on by a committee...of which I am not a member, and refuse to challenge the committee on their decisions.
There is no 'auto-veto'.

| 'auto-veto' is the veto of an illegal trade, despite an instance or two of my prior misuses of the term. | |

| In fairness to the SLHL, St. Louis eventually learned from his ways through group consultation. Not the all-seeing gaze and wisdom of the One Leader | |

| st. louis learned? im not so sure. he made one trade with me that helped him to make a playoff push and then one with you that took him out of it. he definitely should not have done one of those trades as they were completely contradictory. | |
