| The Maple Leafs agree as well. I have always like Saku and Chris, and I think Cody and Marc have a lot of potential in them. | |

| Not a big fan of this deal for the Leafs. I'll wait to see what others have to say, but here's how I break it down.
Todd White and Dan Carcillo offset Saku Koivu and Chris Higgins.
That would mean that Grabovski and DiDomenico (a very good prospect, but granted, injuries are of major concern with him) are dealt for Burki (career AHLer?), Pouliot (weak 3rd-liner in the NHL) and a 2nd-rounder (if it pans out, it will be years from now).
Not sure it's quite challenge-worthy, but I am curious to hear what others have to say.

| Well, before we all start ripping it apart, here is how Ellay and I broke it up: Koivu, Burki = White, DiDomenico Higgins = Grabovski 2nd, Pouliet = Carcillo DiDomenico is injury prone yes, so his value takes a little drop, so him and White (who is a year younger than Koivu) = Koivu and Burki. Higgins and Grabovski are the same age, and to me Higgins has more potential to have a break out year. Pouliet needs to be given a chance, so him along with a 2nd = Carcillo | |

Carcillo is not worth Pouliot + 2nd, he's not even worth a second in my opinion. Didominico isn't injury prone, he's injured. And may never play a game of pro hockey in his life. Even if he does, his game was based on completely speed, after shattering his leg in last year's playoffs, there is a very good chance his speed will be gone, or at least hurt significantly.

| I don't like it because my personal opinion is that Higgins, Grabovski, White and Carcillo are all pretty badly overrated. GRabovski, Higgins and Carcillo in perticular. I als think DiDomenico's injury is a huge risk to be dealing with. | |
