| 15. oilers-currently holds a 3 point lead over 9th place dallas despite a minus twenty five GF/GA differential. i guess they've been getting em when they count. last seen: over at skwid's watching WWE.
14. habs-how do you say 'quack' in french? last seen: pulling off the occasional blockbuster.
13. pens-could gain a lot of ground with all of the games in hand, or could buckle under the strain of the extra workload down the stretch. last seen: working on new ways to violate the salary cap.
12. sharks-felt like the team had a solid roster and stuck with it. boring. last seen: i think you have to exist to be seen.
11. bruins-recently crowned emperor of the universe. last seen: trying to sneak in an iggy blockbuster at the deadline.
10. devils-just read #12 again. last seen: looking for a gm to guide them to playoff glory.
9. flyers-set all time sim league single season record for most challenged trades. and did it all with an innocent smile. last seen: trying to ice four scoring lines.
8. ducks-told the league he was not interested in trading getzlaf, perry or ryan and moved them all within 5 minutes. last seen: thanking skwid in a most unsavory way for getting him the job.
7. lightning-made a couple of debatable moves that have him contending for 1st place in the east. last seen: expressing confusion at how radim vrbata is outscoring vinny.
6. canes-acquired ovechkin. great move! traded staal for jagr. not so great. but both moves have gm raymond dunphy in 1st place in the east. nice job, rookie. last seen: looking down at the rest of the east.
5. canucks-made several moves this year, but kept the guy that counts the most; bobby lou! last seen: hating on detroit and pittsburgh(nhl).
4. wings-didn't do much this year, but when he did it was big. last seen: fuming at the commish for making him trade hossa and franzen for that really good package.
3. jets-made several big moves this year including the pre-season signing of mats sundin. last seen: still trying to make heads or tails of the new (U)FA rule.
2. jackets-ices three of the best wings in the game in nash, hossa and heatly with a couple of nice centers to boot. last seen: secretly plotting my overthrow.
1. avs-i have no. clue. at. all. how the avs are here, but they are and have been all season. last seen: entering an old folks home with what looks like the presidents cup. | |
