Simulation
4.1.0 Each team will play 82 games, 41 games at home and 41 on the road.
4.1.1 Two sim seasons will be played per calendar year.
4.1.2 Games will be simulated according to a regular schedule. Any scheduling changes will either be preceeded by, or shortly followed by notification of said change.
4.1.3 If games cannot be simulated the commissioner will post a notice on the message board notifying the league of the change.
4.1.4 If for any particular reason games cannot be simulated on a particular day, the commissioner will post a notice on the message board notifying the league of the change and will simply double up on the next simulation date.
Trade Processing
4.2.0 All trades are processed after games are simulated.
4.2.1 Trades must be posted on the message board and agreed to by both GMs.
4.2.1(a) In the event of forum issues GMs will be allowed to consumate deals via email with either co-commish.
4.2.2 Trades will remain on the boards, open for debate for roughly 24 hours before they are processed.
4.2.3 Trades that have Future Considerations must be posted in the future consideration section of the forum immediately after the trade is announced. If not, the trade will be put on hold until the matter is resolved.
4.2.4 Trades must be specific regarding the details of the trade. If a "First Round draft pick" is named in the trade, year and original team owner must be named as well. Failure to do so will result in the trade being put on hold until the matter is resolved.
Rest Days
4.3.0 There will be 2 rest days per week. A rest day is a day for your players to rest and recuperate. (Subject to commissioner's discretion)
4.3.1 One rest day will be simulated after the Wednesday games and the other after Sunday games. (Subject to commissioner's discretion)
Lines
4.4.0 Lines are loaded daily.
4.4.1 Lines will be used until new ones are submitted with the exception that if a team makes a trade its lines may be automated right after the trade is processed.
4.4.2 If a player suffers an injury or receives a suspension the team is required to submit lines for the following day.
All Star Break
4.5.0 Each season the SDHL will hold an All Star Break.
4.5.1 Each team will select three of its players to send to the All Star Game.
4.5.2 The conference leaders will select their respective conferences roster from the players provided.
4.5.3 The two GMs will make lines for the All Star Game.
4.5.4 The GM winning the all-star game will receive $1,000,000.
4.5.5 The first star of the game will earn $1,000,000 for his team, second star $500,000 and third star $250,000.
Trade Deadline
4.6.0 The trade deadline will be at approximately 80% of the games played of the season
4.6.1 Trading will resume after the playoffs are completed.
Playoffs
4.7.0 The top eight teams in each conference will take part in the playoffs.
4.7.1 The division leaders will be seeded first, second and third in the conference.
4.7.2 Players are not paid during the playoffs but teams still earn revenues from home games.
