Ugh. I think too much is being given up for a player who is not in the NHL anymore. Just my opinion.

I agree, it's a rental for 1 season, nothing more. But he has good ratings and the only piece that has some value to me is NYI 3rd. I think it's too much, but not excessive. I've seen worse Smile

I don't think it's any worse than the Nolan trade... maybe a bit, but not much.

It doesn't really matter if he is not in the NHL. He is a player that is rated 71, with just one year left on his contract and his rating wont change.

Decent pick up... if the team receiving him was under the cap! I'm not fully sure as to why CHI picked him up, but whatever... it's a rental player situation. CHI has a lot to contend with in our Division. Detroit and Columbus are stocked and the Thrashers are now a defensive dynamo, mix in the talented Blues and you're looking at the toughest division in the League.
