I've had talks with 2 teams about Sidney. Both offers were pretty interesting, so i figured i'd check if someone else would like to dance.

He might go but the return would have to be:

Another top center. Don't want a good 2nd line center, 1st line on some teams... I want another TOP center.

A good, youngish winger. 2nd line capable, with potential to be 1st line someday.

more futures... picks, blue-chip prospects, cash, other good young guys. Especially interested in a young G (prospect or already in NHL)

I can't gain too much salary. It would be pretty hard to top Sidney's contract anyway but just in case you want to offer me a center that makes 6.5M and a winger that makes 5M, I can't do it.

Good call on asking around the league to see who is interested and giving people a chance to get an offer in.
Instead of dealing a stud (like OV) when nobody has any idea that you would deal him.
