I like it for both sides, to be honest. Columbus gets arguably the best player in the world, and Chicago gets two first-liners in return, along with a bit of depth.

Well, not that I'm going to challenge this...there's nothing wrong with it. It's Sid, after all. That said...

Chicago trades a couple of players that would likely net him about 180pts combined per season for less than the price of Sid on the cap, who would probably max out at 120. Two contracts of lesser players that get you more points would be more manageable than one player that's locked in for a while at a huge cap hit.

Nothing wrong with it...just sayin'.
