The Canadiens are sad to see the departure of Laraque but feel we have enough youth in the system that can beat the shit out of anyone who messes with us. And Laraque's contract even though he would be in the minors this year was something we are happy to get rid off. The cash can help in the aqquisition of depth players and the pick will hopefully pan out to be a half decent player.
