Not a bad trade. Ennis and Bernier are definitely blue-chip prospects, but the rest is just a bunch of spare parts. I would have been more hesitant taking this deal as San Jose. Ehrhoff and Boyes are still fairly young and already pretty hot commodities. Boyes has no problem scoring 30G and 70 pts, and Ehrhoff is easily a 40-pt. defenceman who can play most situations. Bernier could be a starting goaltender, but I'm also worried he may be damaged goods because LA tried to get him into the NHL right away. I like Ennis, but he's never played in the NHL either, so you have to be a little careful.
IF both Ennis and Bernier pan out, however, this will have been a fair deal.
