I kinda get owned on this one IMO, but it answers a crucial need for my team and completely fills out my roster with me being cap compliant. I don't like the deal, i think it's a necessary evil. Seidenberg's ratings are nuts.

Chicago, your analysis is correct. You get owned, at least slightly, lol. Seidenberg is considerably better than Wisniewski, I'll give you that, but in three years? Who knows? Lupul is a top-six forward capable of 25G and 50 pts and he's still young, and Brouwer should top out as a tough third-liner.

Seidenberg is very good now - and that's the only reason this deal works -, but Fraser only has a chance of topping out as a third-liner, and Hilbert is a mediocre third-liner as it is.

I agree on all you just said Quebec... but right now this deal gives me the best defensive team in the league, not even close...

My 6 defensemen all have over 90 DF, Brodeur in nets...my bottom 6 has 80 DF and more across the board and my top 6 is Hossa-Kovalchuk-Roy and Sharp-Lang-Kane

I'm pretty sure this will win me a vast majority of my games!!! oh and i saved about 2.5M in that deal too

granted your guys are gonna hit more than mine. but my average DF is higher than yours... Also, my top 3 guys can actually move the puck and help the PP, they ar good at it. your guys don't really do that, beside Seabrook
