| if a player retires we delete him at the first off season opportunity available. so lets say nieds just decided to call it quits tomorrow night, he'd be deleted from the sim at the end of the kings season. | |

I'm pretty sure its because re-rates only go after 2 years, then after that they get tossed in the prospect list until they come back then you get first dibs. If they dont you could just release them to FA I think | |

| Well if I remember correctly you re-rate as normal except once you are done, you subtract a certain percentage. Just like you would with an AHL player. So depending on the league there is a certain percentage that you take off. As long as they are playing Professional hockey they can be re-rated but not the same as an NHL'er | |
