| I'll consider that a minor challenge (otherwise I've got to process the trade).
Vancouver, please enlighten the Avalanche, after that I'll process the trade. | |

| Bernier is not that good, he skates like he has rocks in his skates. That being said teh 1st rounder is kinda high for Arnott. |

| I dont mind giving up picks for good talent...arnott is a great center, he isnt that old at all. Ya its tough giving up bernier, but he is a third liner and the picks are what made this deal for me...with this deal i have solidified (spelling? ) my center problem and have made more room for my other wingers. I have an abundance of young forwards that can play a third line roll for me...i have no problem paying for an elite center. I belive Arnott is the heart and soul of the predators organization and will be a force for years to come. Now with Arnott in my system, I have one of the best center depths in the league...2 great centers that can be number 1 line centers, 1 of the best 3rd line centers(Kesler) who could also play a backup roll if an injury comes into play. Then following that i still have Peter "The Great" Forsberg along with other good players in my farm system. With this deal I have not only made myself stronger down the middle but made it easier for me to move other players..now having good talent in every area. If you dont understand what Iam trying to say here, or if you want more of an reasoning, hit me up on msn tonight, as I am at my moms right now and I still cant get on the site on my personal computer. I would like to also add that my picks will probably both be late picks...as not to be cocky but i feel that i have a very strong team/ | |

| The only problem that I see is the salary cap wih taking on Jason Arnott's 4,500,000 plus having to move Forsberg to the big club with another 4,000,000 and losing Steve Bernier @ 850,000 is quite a hit to the cap is a net gain of 7,650,000 to add to 50,515,670 for a total of 58,165,670 which comes to 2,165,670 over the cap. | |
