I will do my argument now just in case....Leopold is still a young good defender, ya he has his injury problems but i believe he is still a strong force. Leopold also gets me team better NOW not next year and he is also 1mill cheaper which will help me as Iam right around the cap. The 2nd and Mr. Terry are the extras, Terry is a 19 year old prospect thats a gamble, and of course the 2nd is really also a gamble.

Edler is a young great defender, he has great all around ability and will become a top 4 defender one day, however I feel with Vancouvers strong defense it might be a while for him to get that kind of ice time, he already gets a lot of time on the pp, yet the 5 on 5 time is very slowly getting higher. Now Leopold is already a top 4 defender, 6 years older...so he also adds the experience.
