sorry devils gm, but i gotta challenge. i realize you're probably going to hate me, but this is another bad trade on your part.

marty isnt a spring chicken anymore, but when healthy is still the best in the game. period. leclaire lost his job this year, man! he's now a backup to mason. he either gets traded, or, best case scenario, splits time with mason next season. a part time G is NOT worth marty. no way. and without looking at the stats i would assume langenbrunner is worth more than vrbata and craig combined, although im not 100% sure on that. either way this deal is a no brainer challenge.

yeah i dont like challenging but this one is a little too much.

i have to agree with Joe on this one...Marty is wurth more than everything Tampa is offering.

Leclaire is having an awfull season. Vrbata ran to the KHL and Craig is a 4th liner.

Hey Devs GM;

Just as a point of reference, the last time Brodeur was traded in this league he netted Marty Turco and Mike Smith. Most people felt NJ could have done quite a bit better, though.

I think you could expect something along those lines, a top-notch goalie (Turco, Vokoun, Nabakov, someone like that) plus some other nice pieces of youth, picks, or depth guys.

Not trying to pile on here, but sometimes it helps to know what you should expect in return while shopping a big name.
